WHAT FEATURES IN THE BOOKSELLER MAGAZINE?
Since 1858, The Bookseller has been at the heart of the UK’s book publishing industry. Each issue of our weekly magazine includes news analysis, book sales charts, author interviews, book previews, job opportunities and more. The Bookseller aims to provide all the info and insight our readers need to get ahead, whether they’re publishers, booksellers, agents or students. Every summer, we also feature a roundup of up-and-coming figures within the industry in our annual Rising Stars issue.
WHAT CAN I FIND ON WWW.THEBOOKSELLER.COM?
On our website you’ll find rolling coverage of all the latest publishing news, a roundup of which is delivered direct to inboxes each morning in our free Morning Briefing newsletter. Simply register online to receive this and other newsletters each week. Our Jobs in Books site is the place to look for jobs within the publishing industry, and our Careers channel features useful info and articles, including our new “How to Rise in Your Career” series for those looking to get ahead. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn too, to stay up to date with what’s going on.
WHAT EVENTS DOES THE BOOKSELLER ORGANISE?
For those looking to improve their industry connections as well as knowledge, we hold three major publishing conferences each year – the Marketing and Publicity Conference, Children’s Conference and Futurebook Conference – and all three still went ahead as successful virtual events during last year’s lockdown. Bookseller subscribers get exclusive discounts on tickets to all of our events, including the prestigious British Book Awards held every spring.
